Frequently asked questions

Which workshop should my child START with?

Whichever one sparks their interest, because every workshop is a real start to the Young CEO journey. Here’s how to choose:

  • Pick the kind of creating they love. If your child loves making things, go for Start a Business Using 3D Design, where they learn 3D design tools, create their own 3D products, build a brand and sell to real customers. Most students choose to begin with Start a Business Using Digital Design.
  • Choose their age group. We run groups for 8 to 11 and for 12 to 15, so every child learns alongside their peers.
  • Choose the location. During the school semester, we bring our workshops to schools and have Saturday classes the Connecting Dots office. During the holiday season, we run them at our office. Select an option that fits your family’s routine.
  • Choose the dates that suit your family. We run workshops throughout the season, so you can pick a start date that works for you.
What’s included, and is there anything extra to do or buy?

Everything is included: facilitators, equipment and all materials. There’s no homework either, because all the learning happens hands-on during the workshop hours.

Your child just shows up, and we handle the rest.

What happens after the workshop?

The workshop is just the beginning!

It’s the first step in our wider Young CEO journey at Connecting Dots.

Your child leaves with skills that last, including financial literacy, critical thinking, creativity and communication, along with a real taste of what it means to be an entrepreneur.

From there, the journey can keep going. Through our Young CEO Access Pass programme, students can continue growing their business and keep building on what they’ve started. Others take their skills into new ventures, school projects and beyond. However they choose to continue, they’ve already taken a big step forward.
